privacy policy

Last updated: July 1, 2026

This page is maintained by the Mythmind team to answer common privacy questions about the Mythmind app. By using Mythmind you agree to the practices described here.

1. What we collect

We collect the minimum needed to run a personalized news feed:

  • Account: email address and authentication metadata.
  • Personalization signals: stories opened, dwell time, scroll depth, likes, bookmarks, skips, topics you tune.
  • Device: notification permission state and offline cache stored on your device.

2. How we use it

  • Rank the feed toward stories you actually finish.
  • Send optional push notifications when there's a fresh drop.
  • Sync your saved stories across devices.

3. What we don't do

  • We don't sell your data.
  • We don't run third-party ad tracking inside the feed.
  • We don't read the article contents you open on external sites.

4. Third-party sources

Headlines are aggregated from public sources (Hacker News, Reddit, Spaceflight News, and similar). Clicking through opens the publisher's site under their own privacy terms.

5. Your controls

  • Turn notifications on or off from the feed header.
  • Remove saved stories from your Saved page.
  • Request account deletion by contacting support — we remove your account and personalization signals.
